Some Random Music Listening I Had

I just happened to be really bored last night so I decided to listen to some music from the 80s. It just happens that these are the songs I heard:
You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) by Dead or Alive
-"You Spin Me Right Round Baby, Right Round Like A Record player, right round round round.

The Promise by When In Rome
- What a name for a band.

Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield
- What a great song from a guy who started his American career in soap operas.

The Heart of Rock 'n Roll by Huey Lewis and the News

Don't Stop Believin' by Journey
-Can you say it went "ad nauseum" when the White Sox were in the World Series?

Walk Like An Egyptian by The Bangles
Voices Carry by 'Til Tuesday

Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds
-Famous from The Breakfast Club

Hungry Like The Wolf by Duran Duran
Hungry Eyes by Eric Carmen
-Definitely a seductive song from Dirty Dancing.

If You Leave by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (O.M.B.)
Head Over Heels by Tears For Fears
Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams
-Got My First Real Six-String, Bought It At The Five and Dime.

True by Spandau Ballet
-What a name for a band. Was Xanadu Ballet not as cool or something?

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police
You Give Love A Bad Name by Bon Jovi
-Shot Through The Heart And You're To Blame...

Tainted Love by Soft Cell
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by U2
Love Shack by The B-52s
I Ran by A Flock of Seagulls
(I Just) Died In Your Arms by Cutting Crew
-Where did this name come from? The same basket as Soft Cell?

Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
-Heard in Zoolander, the 'trance' song

Love Is A Battlefield by Pat Benatar
Here I Go Again by Whitesnake
-Here I go again on my own, going down the only road I've ever known, like a drifter I was born to walk alone.

Maniac by Michael Sembello
-The song used by Chris Farley when he was getting the mud washed off of him at the gast station.

867-5309/Jenny by Tommy Tutone
-Alright, who ever tried really calling Jenny on that number?

Venus by Bananarama
-I'm your Venus, You're my fire, You're Desire

Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
-It's the Eye of the Tiger, its the thrill of the fight, rising up to the terrors of our rival.
-Come on, how many of you haven't heard this one at enough high school or college sports events? Or do you just watch Rocky IV alot?

Beat It by Michael Jackson
-I wonder how often he used that song for sexual purposes?

She Blinded Me WIth Science by Thomas Dolby
-That is one twisted video.

Careless Whisper by Wham!
-Yes, this would be the same band who brought us, "Wake Me Up, Before You Go-Go!"

Broken Wings by Mr. Mister
-Take These Broken Wings and Learn to Fly Again Learn to live so free.

Ah, what a fun night of music that was. Hope you liked getting to have a look back at a great decade of music. And on this note, I'm off for some more 80s music.
